Abstract:

Traditional 3D body scanning systems are designed to capture static geometry, while motion analysis typically requires separate tracking technologies and complex post-processing workflows. AVE3D One Shot 4D introduces a novel approach that enables the simultaneous markerless acquisition of precise three-dimensional geometry and dynamic movement data within a single capture event. Our technology is based on very well known within industrial applications structural light scanning with the magic touch of AI.
The technology combines synchronized multi-camera-projectors imaging with advanced reconstruction algorithms to generate temporally consistent 4D datasets, providing both accurate surface measurements and motion trajectories of the human body. With a single unit, multiple acquisition systems, or repeated measurements, the solution simplifies data collection while preserving metric accuracy.
This presentation introduces the principles of OneShot 4D acquisition with AI driven structured light, discusses system architecture and data processing methods, and presents selected applications in biomechanics, medical research, rehabilitation, sports science, and digital human modeling. Particular attention is given to the potential of the technology to bridge the gap between conventional 3D scanning and motion capture, enabling comprehensive analysis of shape and movement within a unified dataset. AVE3D One Shot 4D represents a new generation of human body measurement technology, opening opportunities for more efficient and clinically relevant assessment of dynamic anatomical structures and functional movement.
