Abstract:

We have developed various-sized scanners specifically to accommodate the scanning of a range of objects: from a matchbook to a whole person. Artec 3D Scanner delivers information on the shape of an object within a matter of seconds. As a result, our devices are successfully used whenever there is a need for 3D images of an individual body part or the entire human body. Our 3D scanners present no safety risk to people. They do not produce the sort of magnetic radiation that can damage medical instruments, and there is no need for special markers. These advantages account for their popularity in medicine and related disciplines.
